Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Fathi El Sharkawy, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Mr. Samir Abdel Nasser, Secretary General of the University and Mr. Mohamed El Deeb, Assistant Secretary for Education and Student Affairs, university cities are preparing to receive the academic year 2017/2018.

Prof. Dr. Fathi El Sharkawy met with the Director General of the University Cities Mr. Ahmed Al-Entebli and Mr. Khaled Assem, the University's Director for male students and a number of accommodation and nutrition supervisors and the youth activities in the university cities to emphasize the good preparation for receiving new students and removing any obstacles during the process of housing and work. In the management of the city in all its parts as one team working for the convenience of students.

In addition to stand on the completion of the maintenance work in the light of his assignments to the engineers of the engineering department at the university under the leadership of engineer / Vivian Ayoub Matta and follow-up all the work of maintenance, renovations and building façades and all rooms for insect extermination.

Prof. Dr. Fathi El Sharkawy said that priority in housing is for people with special needs and the blind, as stated by his Excellency, that there is no increase in the cost of accommodation within university cities
